Live
footage is a Brooklyn based
electronic duo consisting of Topu Lyo and Mike Thies. Topu plays
electric cello incorporating an array of pedals to build live
loops. Mike plays drums and keyboards often looping as well.
The name derives from the numerous suggestions that their sound
is cinematic. They will be joined by multi-media artist Brian
House (KnifeandFork.org). This Monkeytown show is kicking off
Live Footage's upcoming west coast tour and paying tribute to
an amazing NYC club.
