[The] Slowest Runner [In All The
World]
is a Brooklyn-based instrumental post-baroque sextet. Known for
their epic long-form songs and optionally-extensible name, Slowest
Runner's live performances can be deafening rock-outs or stunningly
cinematic, depending on the venue. Slowest Runner combines strings
and piano with a traditional rock setup and vocal manipulation
for a uniquely-embellished sound. They will perform along to
a visual backdrop of Soviet scientists decapitating a living
dog and experimenting with it.
