ReImagination, where energy of virtual and physical worlds unite. Inspired by the works of the ancient alchemists, Carmen Gerstl presents a work inspired by the mythology and technology of these mystics of old. ReImagination invites you to experience a three dimensional, virtual and sound environment.

Using computer generated programing such as Photoshop, Maya, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Max XP Jitter Carmen Gerstl has created an interactive, computer generated virtual world. In ReImagination, the virtual environment interacts, in real time with the sonic textures and rhythmic movement composed, performed and improvised by David Freeman (tabla/percussion/effects) who is accompanied by Mustafa, Bhagat (sitar/effects) and Stephen Hudson (keyboard/effects).

This project made possible with the help of the UNESCO Fellowship program and by Harvestworks, NYC.
