Bridging gaps is what Bipolart has to offer the culture industry. The theme 'discotopia' in this evening's two shows pertains to my own vision of a utopian club experience at the four screen surround sound dining / partying venue Monkeytown, which I've frequented since its inception.

The flow of the program will grow from ambient stylistics to uppity 'get off the futon' audio visual stimulation by the time Diako Diakoff takes the floor. The video selections are very diverse and several works were gathered on a recent trip that spanned NY Paris Berlin and back, a fitting 'discotopian' itinerary if you ask me.

To top the evening off with the essence of a club experience, the live show, our electro crooner Diako Diakoff will perform high n low solo cholo for the final hour in each of the two shows. The first show following or during dinner will feature Diako in a more song-oriented performance but still upbeat (see his myspace), whereas the second show will be more of a beat breaking blast off with his trademark howling blues vocals whisking your worries away. We hope for dance party in our discotopia!
