Brent Arnold is a Brooklyn-based cellist who uses acoustic and electric cello, along with loops, effects, and his own vocals to go from simple songs to massive epic soundscapes. His avant-garde yet populist approach has been compared to Arthur Russell, Andrew Bird, and Final Fantasy. In his hands the cello incorporates rock and folk, free improvisation, South Asian and Middle Eastern melody, and a deconstructive spirit that finds him taking songs apart and putting them together in new ways.
He has worked with artists including Modest Mouse, DJ/Rupture, Sleater-Kinney, Eyvind Kang, Filastine, and many more.

On this special night he'll be joined by several guests including the amazing video projections of Daniel Perlin.
