Nonlinear and multi-channel stories from the Hunter Integrated Media Arts program. Thirteen short pieces, most designed especially for Monkey Town's space will have their public premiere. Originating in styles from documentary to experimental, these multiple and varied stories represent several poles and/or incorporate these poles within one piece: political and playful, observational and fantastical, thoughtfully speculative and algorithmic, local and global, critical and complicit.

The mix will include a spooky, immersive story by the campfire, chance encounters and yoga in Serbia, a descent into the history of trash incorporating interpretive dance and pre-dawn visits to Jamaica Bay, media degraded by compression and other factors, characters and their compulsive actions moving from screen to screen, a media rich update on Marx from the vantage point of the present, American country life stripped of urban, idealized conceptions—and much more.

Work by Meredith Drum, Dylan Gauthier, Sebastian Gutierrez, Elizabeth Knafo, Da-hye Lee, Pilar Ortiz, Christine Peng, Daniel Phelps, Chloe Smolarski, Vandana Sood, Megan Sperry, Sam Stalling, Meredith Whitefield.
