17th Bluebrain is one of the most exciting acts coming out of Washington DC today. The duo, consisting of brothers Hays & Ryan Holladay, will be making their New York debut with this new project. The heavy electronics and seething textural arrangements of their recently released 'Cult Following' EP are being compared to acts like The Knife and Yeasayer. They will release their first full-length album, 'Soft Power' early next year. Peephole is the much-buzzed about Brooklyn act that, following a string of EPs and a well-recieved string of CMJ shows, are returning to Monkey Town for a second time with a new line-up.
