And more about the entertainment...

Just watch the trailer. Look at that library, the soft focus, the 400 Blows homage, the New York Times' Vincent Canby recommended, the Andy Warhol shout out ("outrageously kinky masterpiece"), "the Quixotic movement of time".

Tonight we screen Radley Metzger's The Lickerish Quartet (1970) simultaneously with another Metzger erotic classic, Score (1973) on two screens each. Both films would definitely qualify as softcore these days; but back in the day, this was racy stuff. Score goes a little further than The Lickerish Quartet with explicitness, but seriously folks, there's a lot of beautifully shot melodrama to entertain you until you get your kink. We will lean heavily on the The Lickerish Quartet soundtrack...so you can follow at least one plot.
