I’M IN YOU
Somewhere inside these songs of post-human dread, genocide, and apocalyptic loneliness beats the awkward, romantic heart of a late-seventies high-school prom band that wants to make you dance in all your adolescently hormonal humanity. I’m In You’s omnivorous musical entity absorbs twitched-out post-punk, sleazy disco, and minimalist rhythm experiments and blends them with unhinged vocals and damaged guitar freak-outs, in a sincere attempt to deconstroy everything we love and hate about rock and roll. In the process we counter man’s inhumanity towards man and other terrors of existence, by harnessing the vibrations of sex and death to a primal freak-out that can stop the flow of time, if only for an hour.
Featuring special guest appearances by Michael Irwin and Glenn White as The IIY Horn Section, and Katie Eastburn on backing vocals and keyboards.

Begushkin is a sailor. On indefinite shore leave from a disreputable (pirate) schooner, having gambled and lost everything, he takes his act to the stage for a final settling of accounts. A snaky and sensuous contraption of psycho-slavic rock wizardry mirrors his every move, drawing delirious drunkards, libidinous monkeys and beautiful night stalkers out of the darkness and into the flickering gas light of a warm, strange world.

TALK NORMAL
A minimalist, blues-based machine making deep rhythms out of few moving parts, with a human component to whisper its secrets between grinding cogs and metallic thuds. Industrial in the earliest sense, honoring the principles of the steam engine, Freudian auto-transference, and primitivist disco thump, to make insistent and transporting music for ambivalent people.
