Food for Thought - 10 years and counting
Jonathan Judge has been following Doug Fitch and Mimi Oka as they travel the world creating elaborate and amazing happenings that redefine both food and art. 10 years ago they went to the south of France to bake a forty foot baguette with the residents of a small town.  They've created pasta paintings that have hung in galleries in Tokyo and New York, where guests bought a painting, handed it to the chef (in New York Chef Daniel Boulud)  and watched as their art was boiled and served to them as dinner.  To celebrate over 10 years of incredible experimenting with art and food we're showing the first short film L' baguette Enorme en Gala and the 30 minute episode of Food for Thought on their pasta paintings - Good Taste in Art.  We will also show some select moments from the Ile Flottante floating island meal in the south of France.  It's a time for those who've taken part in the events and those who want to see what they are like to enjoy some amazing food at MonkeyTown and watch some incredible food/art events.
