American Psycho vs. The Machinist

We saw American Psycho recently. And we liked it much, much more than when we walked out of it the first time we saw it. Perhaps it's the Bernie Madoff times we live in, perhaps it's because we saw The Machinist the night before.

Either way, they both point to the singular talents of one Mr. Batman (Bateman!!!) Christian Bale (so many puns, we won't even attempt to join the party). But specifically, to watch these films side-by-side is to see the peculiar weight gain and loss effects on Mr. Bale's being. We will show these films simultaneously on two screens each.

The American Psycho soundtrack will be the soundtrack during the screenings.
