J.K. Brogan, Kieran Daly and David
Linaburg constitute
a trio of radical composer/performers currently based
in Charleston, South Carolina. Sharing a mutual
interest in reduced musical materials, composition,
improvisation, Slavoj Zizek, listening, memory and
silence, the trio have created a program wherein they
will each simultaneously perform a solo work of their
own composition, selected independently before the
performance.

Steven Flato is a 24 year old musician, composer, and
improviser that plays acoustic and electronic music,
sometimes both at the same time, sometimes neither at
none times. Currently based in Long Island, he is
also a member of hwaet (with Vanessa Rossetto of The
Mighty Acts of God) and Mouth To Mouth (with Danny
Moore and Reviver).

fraufraulein is the duo of Anne Guthrie and Billy
Gomberg. While their main instruments are,
respectively, french horn and laptop/synthesizer,
fraufraulein employs a wide range of techniques and
objects in their improvisations. They have
performed with Richard Kamerman, Reed Rosenberg,
Jeremiah Cymerman, Tom Blancarte, and Eddie Prevost,
among others. Country At The River of Friendship is
available on the Test Tube netlabel.

Tandem Electrics is Richard Kamerman (amplified laptop
circuits) and Reed Evan Rosenberg (programming).
Richard also performs as a percussionist in Delicate
Sen with Anne and Billy of fraufraulein. Reed is a
member of free improv/noise band The Groits.
Following nearly two and a half years of improvising
together to find the digital sound that became Tandem
Electrics, their first album (Intaglio) was finally
released in December.

VJs Object Zero -/- Girl Friday are Dave Tennent and
Kate Freer of video art collective Room404Media. Kate
is an accomplished filmmaker, having written,
directed, shot and edited over twenty short and
feature length films and documentaries. Dave, as a
theatrical designer, playwright, and director, has
designed projections for various New York theater
companies and produced multiple plays of his own that
concentrate on the incorporation of projections and
technology into the essential staging. As VJs they
have worked numerous events in and around NYC with
production companies such as Urban Gypsy Circus and
28th Day.
