Three brooklyn based groups present a night of original music:

Sean Moran's "Small Elephant" with Mike Mcginnis on clarinet, Reuben Radding on bass, Vinnie Sperrazza on marimba, Harris Eisenstadt on drums, and Sean Moran on acoustic guitar. Performing new compositions based on the principle of wooden elements and big sounds.

I did my first ever solo performance at Copenhagen jazz festival in 2008, but I do not intend it to be the last.

Trombonist Brian Drye's "Scopa Trio" features Geoff Kraly on electric bass and Vinnie Sperrazza on drums. The trio has been performing since 2002 and while they have never performed in the south china sea, the name "Scopa" was discovered there after a brief encounter with an Italian Count and a lawyer from Beijing.
