“DFE (acoustic and electro–acoustic string chamber music); Noise Floor Music (post–electronica/ambient) with Lori Napoleon (live light sculpture).”

DFEis a modern music performance initiative featuring Devora Geller, Marie Incontrera, Nicholas Nelson, and John Chittum. DFE is not a rock band.

A night of string music led by DFE violinist Devora Geller. We will be presenting several world premiers of DFE and friends. Music will include acoustic and electro–acoustic works, ranging in scale from solo to quartet. Come see the spectacle that rocked October and brought Manhattan shaking to its knees for an evening of music revelery not witnessed since the Paris riot of 1913!

LORI NAPOLEON — As a visual artist, Lori is enamored with sculpting light as a physical entity and creating a sense of place that complements the music that inspires her. With projected light installations, she will provide both luminous abstractions and choreographed sculptures inspired by and responsive to the spatial atmospheres created by the sound of Noise Floor Music.

NOISE FLOOR MUSIC — The sound of Noise Floor Music, Roy Vanegas's solo music project, is electronic, often guitar–based, heady, and ambient. The music exhibits Pärt, Boards of Canada, and GY!BE as influences.
