Experimental live electronic music sets by three solo performer/composers:

Courtney Brown
Courtney Brown is a composer, vocalist, accordionist, and computer programmer using electronics to question the boundaries of performance.
She is performing her most recent work, Every Night I Lose Control, consists a series of compositions in which she gradually loses control over the music and the computer takes over. These pieces are N is for Neville who died of Ennui, in which the computer gets bored when I repeat movements and so changes the behavior of the sound; The Error of my Ways, in which a bad implementation of an algorithm gradually adds error until the process fails; and Balancing Act, in which I attempt to balance while following an invisible object with the accelerometer during performance.
These compositions explore the uneasy balance between artifice, actuality, and embodiment. Courtney is influenced by cabaret, tango, and early goth rock, and she incorporates a strong element of melodrama and theater in her performances.

This is a forty minute exploration of what it would be to grow roots. Inspired by No Country for Old Men, and Giorgi Kozintsev's Hamlet and King Lear, we are visited by apparitions and lullaby's, nightmares and love songs, with guest appearances by Dmitri Shostakovich and Isabella Rossellini.
