KIND MONITOR + special guest Amura – After an enchanting sold-out
performance last fall, indie darlings Kind Monitor return to
Monkeytown for their first live performance of '08. Emerging from
wintery studio sessions in Bushwick (with Ray Rizzo, Scott Matthew,
and Kevin Meeker), KM will introduce majestic new music (get ready for
Sonia's stand-out fretless bass on "Wedding Song"), providing you a
harmonious Friday night dinner show at the always delectable
performance space.
Kind Monitor will be joined by special guests, the inimitable Amura
(composed of members of the band Misha), whose music is best described
as Mitchell Froom meets Brill building meets Kishore Kumar.
