During performances, Kevin Micka (Animal Hospital) buries himself in a pile of electronics while patiently constructing a layered nest of loops consisting of live drum beats, guitar chords, scrapes, chucks, chimes, and melodies resulting in anything from more conventional songs to meticulously crafted ambient movements on to full on improvisation. This year, Animal Hospital has released two albums, "Memory"(Barge Recordings), and "Good or Plenty, Streets + Avenues"(Mutable Sound)

Tonight Micka will also join Malcolm Felder as a part of Lineland. Songs from Felder's newest album "Logos for Love" (AudioDregs) have been described as "ornately-arranged instrumental pop songs that are intricate in compositional design without being weighed down oppressively by excess"(textura). In this rare live appearance, Lineland performs with original video by Felder.
