Thankfully, Swine Flu was not quite as deadly as had been conjured. And all along you could always eat pork. But now, despite continued school closings, we can all fully indulge bacon, lardo, pork shoulder, hamhocks and all the other delicious pig parts.

This month, we return to our food-theme-centric tradition featuring nothing but hog for 6 courses. And like our Vampire Valentine's Day and our Deep Sea Dinner, a live DJ provides the ambient mood while we play four different pig-related films at the same time (one per screen), including: Delicatessen; Porco Rosso (Mizyaki); Black Moon (rarely screened Louis Malle) and Animal Farm (1954); and other swine delights.

(Note: We have been forbidden — by a porcine cabal — from including Babe, a great film, but apparently inappropriate, mostly for being too appropriate.)

But it's not enough to return to mere bacon or ham sandwiches, we have kissed the entire pig, just like our hero-boy, shown above...
