Barcelona-based artist Santiago Latorre presents music from his new release, Órbita, a blend of something very old and at the same time very new, "a mix of elegant jazz and gentle electronica" (Plan B, UK).

Órbita is about turning and evolving, always the same journey but constantly changing, getting older, slowly dying.

"Magical as a new world, subtle and delicate in every shade, melancholic and lively, Latorre can be considered a revelation." All about jazz, Italy.

A visual artist by nature, Lisle Ellis's musical persona is a product of the influence of some conservatory training in Canada, the now legendary Creative Music Studio, and the 1970’s New York City Loft Jazz scene. After leaving his native Vancouver, Ellis, an improvising bassist whose 3 decades of work spans Cecil Taylor to Matmos, gained experience in the communities of Toronto, San Francisco, and Montreal before taking up NYC residency in 2005.
