Ava Luna
"Focusing in on the tension between a charged post-punk drum-and-synth-bass rhythm section (Alex Smith and Nathan Tompkins respectively) and the combined vocal talents of manic frontman Carlos Hernandez and a trio of startlingly gospel-voiced backup singers, the combination is fresh and invigorating and, live, posesses a magnetic appeal."

Data Dog

"Mixing minimal electronic, noisy pop and synth heavy beats, Data Dog (Rob Flato + Dan Arnes) colour their songs with vocal harmonies, erratic samples and skittering clicks, creating a unique blend of styles that turns ideas from all over the musical map onto their heads. Their live show is a sight to behold in itself; a colorful barrage of texture, melody, and rhythm creating the sonic landscape by which they navigate."

Candy Heart

"Mariel Loveland, of NYC area band Candy Hearts, performs heart-on-sleeve folk with a sense of purpose. She writes songs that deal with young love, crushes and heartbreak; transporting her audience to a time and place where things were as innocent as her sweet, girlish voice and sincrerely heartfelt performance."
