"The Aman Amun live show is not simply an electronic/dj set but a heavily refined performance featuring many similar powerful interactive and visual elements to that of Laurie Anderson or the Nine Inch Nails. With the Aman Amun live show Brian is attempting to manipulate the structure which frames the performance of live electronic music ( where the work is normally hidden behind the computer screen or some big table and accompanied by some sort of visual stimulus as lights or video). Whilst studying interactive art at the University of Georgia he's developed the tools necessary to combine the visualization and the musical performance into one. The music itself controls the lights, he interacts with the visualizer to control the music, the pitch, brightness, loudness, and rhythm from the non electronic elements control the the visuals, etc. Built into the Aman Amun project is a certain technical novelty that puts it in a category of its own. It attempts to bridge the gaps between high art and popular music, DJing and live performance, and live performance and theatre."
