Elbis Rever is an international experimental-electo-pop music band
that found its start in Warsaw. The band now includes members from the
U.S., Spain, Poland, France, and Iran. This concert at Monkey Town
will be the first opportunity to see the group as a trio, including
Faezeh Araee, from Tehran, Iran. Faezeh's voice goes from a slight
whisper to a roar in seconds, as she sings tales of love and pain in a
mixture of Persian, English, and French. With her, will be the New
York chapter of Elbis Rever, sisters Janina (from Warsaw, Poland) and
Aleksandra (from NYC) McCormack. This may be the first and only time
this formation of the band will perform in the near future. Elbis
Rever's original visuals will accompany the concert.
