ichiigai is finest German Audio Art with disproportional experimental approach, serving a fusion of sound, music, video and art.

ichiigai presents an evening full of venue-specific experiments, moments of silence and noise, rhythm and tunes, performances and surprises at Monkey Town.

11 artists of the collective designed an audio-visual spectacle exclusively for Monkey Town. In store, pieces by composting, dmda, fff, Andy Goralczyk, Frank Halbig, irel.ier, Paul Modler, Adam Rafinski, soundflorA, TheHimmlischKind, theartistsformallyknownas__feat., and tordebruit. All the works have never been seen before, and will never appear again. In play, the role and categorization of entertainment, seriousness, multi-media, improvisation, technique, presence, temporality, sensibility … in general, and in music and art.

On the night: soundflorA feat. Andy Goralczyk and Narrative Noise, an audio-visual tapestry documenting progressions in time and space. Etui (Paul Modler) presents an improvised sonal affair of shots, chunks, grains, bytes and bits collected around Monkey Town and elsewhere. Irel.ier weaves semi-algorithms into live sonic acupuncture. Composting uses several analog and digital feedback cycles. TheHimmlischKind witty combination of drum machines, cameras, delay, hard drives, kazoo, mic, people, projectors, radio, space, speakers, toy guitar, trumpet, vox, and wire. Adam Rafinski uses his own face to generate live music while his brainwaves control your thoughts and emotions. Further acts by dmda, fff, Frank Halbig, tordebruit and theartistsformallyknownas__feat.
