Sex During Wartime is not trying to be pretentious it just comes naturally. Influenced by the experimental yet accessible music of Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, and David Bowie, Sex During Wartime strive to write songs that are both familiar and ambitious. Featuring the off key vocals and wanksty guitar of Matt Longo, the hackneyed piano, drums, and accordion playing of Nathaniel Safren, the blaring horns of Duncan Tootill, and then shrill squaks of James Leddy's violin, Sex During Wartime sound like a warm up session at a John Cale birthday bash. Special Guest Michael Phelps on glass armonica. BYOT (Bring Your Own Tongs). Those audience members seated in the first two rows will get wet.
