One of the most influential families of performers ever, The
Cockettes are credited as inspiration by everyone from John Galliano
and Marc Jacobs to The Scissor Sisters and Devendra Banhart.
They may be best known for their riotous stage performances but
their output of short films is every bit as decadently demented.
This one-off presentation, hosted by original member Rumi Missabu,
is a deliciously rare opportunity to see three of The Cockettes
best cinematic works including the legendary Elevator Girls in
Bondage, back to back.
