Byron Westbrook is a composer/sound artist living in Brooklyn,
NY. His work involves performance of processed instrumental and
environmental recordings through a multi-channel environment with
a focus on redistributing distilled energy of sound and light.
In solo performances under the name CORRIDORS, a system of multiple
amplifiers is used in conjunction with PA speakers to create a
dynamic space within a space using sound and video projection.
He has also collaborated with Rhys Chatham in the drone metal
group Essentialist (Table of the Elements), as well as performed
in the ensembles of Phill Niblock, Chatham, Glenn Branca and Jonathan
Kane.

Dan
Friel:
Dan Friel makes minimal, lo-tech electronic music by himself and
as a member of the band Parts & Labor. His solo work merges
noise and ambient with bits of metal, folk and gospel. A new full
length will be out this fall on Important Records.
"The music he ends up with sounds like little else out there,
a heaving mass of static beats, monolithic distortion, and bending,
diving tones... a unique and uncompromising sound that ultimately
transcends its limitations." -Pitchfork
