An evening of experiments in sight and sound from around the globe.
Multiple projection Opera, jet powered amusement rides, live cinema,
and experimental animation come together for one special early
evening show. The program contains art from as far away as Barcelona,
Morocco, and Ireland as well as pieces produced right here in
the heart of Brooklyn.
Joseph Keckler

"Has Been From Michigan"- 6 min
Joseph Keckler is a hammy depressive, multi-media visual and performance
artist, essayist, playwright, actor, divo and chanteur-- the "beautiful
androgyne who sings the blues" (The Guardian). His work has
been produced at HERE Arts Center, Joe's Pub (Public Theater),
The 11th Annual Performance Studies International Conference at
Brown University, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and on numerous
occasions at Galapagos Art Space and Dixon Place Theater. Joseph
can regularly be seen performing in a variety of NYC nightspots
and singing principal bass-baritone roles at the Amato Opera Theater.
Maria Rapetskaya
"MOROCCO" TRT 3:00
Maria
Rapetskaya is a NYC-based artist, designer and animator.
Currently,
she is one of two partners in a design boutique, balance gfx,
where she
heads projects that range from motion graphics to packaging design.
Prior to her decision to be self-sufficient and never have to
count vacation days again, she spent years on the design and post-production
scene. In her spare time, she makes weird art-stuff, travels and
records her experiences via photographs, written ramblings and
animations.
SOLU: Ramscapes 1.0

Solu
presents her poetic realtime audiovisual journey "Ramscapes
1.0".
Her videomaterial ranges from minimal abstractions and visual
noise to
multilayered ambiental landscapes mixed with fragments of our
visual
culture. From the visual matrix appears stories that talk to us
in the
language of digital dreams.
Guillermo E. Brown
Does drum and bass type stuff and electronica sound mixing. But
in an
experimental soundscape way. Plus he plays all over the world
as a drummer with various bands.

Madagascar Institute
The
Madagascar Institute is an art combine in Brooklyn
that specializes in large-scale sculptures and rides, live performances,
and guerilla art
events. They will be sharing images from their latest adventure
in jet
powered technology at the "Electric Picnic", Ireland,
this past September.
