"With his slow-moving, understated music, DAVID DANIELL makes a fine spokesman for the notion that anything worth doing is worth doing for a long, long time. Whether he's contributing moody strums and sculpted E-Bow drones to the guitar trio San Agustin or stringing computer-generated pings and bumps across gulfs of silence on Sem, his solo debut on his own Antiopic label, he develops his material patiently, the better to let you observe the sounds from every angle."
--Bill Meyer in the Chicago Reader, 30 June 2006

SOFT CIRCLE consists of one member, Hisham Akira Bharoocha. Bharoocha is a former member of Black Dice (on all earlier releases up till 'Creature Comforts') as well as being in an early incarnation of Lightning Bolt. Soft Circle is his current solo music project. Soft Circle's goal is to create pure sonic vibrations that come from within. Look out for his first album 'Full Bloom' out now on Eastern Developments. It is already out in Japan, distributed by Easel.

LICHENS is Robert Lowe's "personal vehicle, created for performance and recording solo and with collaborators. Lichens has performed in Chicago, beginning at the Arthur magazine sponsored Million Tongues Festival in summer 2004 and New York solo and in duos. Lichens live is a transfixing experience, looping wordless vocals into curtains of drone. Lowe adds acoustic and electric guitars, percussion and other effects to create alternately thick and delicate works."

CORRIDORS: solo audio/video project from Byron Westbrook (also of The Winter Pageant & Rhys Chatham's Essentialist) using dialogue between multiple sound sources and dynamic light projection. His work involves performance of processed instrumental and environmental recordings through a multi-channel audio environment with a focus on redistributing distilled energy of sound and light.
