Jon
Keith Brunelle creates laptop storytelling: rapid-fire
digital slide shows comprising hundreds of vintage movie stills,
remixed to form satiric new stories that he tells in live voiceover.
His multimedia performance project, The Psychasthenia Society
features the video work of Daniel Vatsky and the music of Mad
EP and their engagements include Galapagos Art Space, P.S. 122,
Monkey Town, and Houston's Aurora Picture Show. The Nanolove Report,
written by Jon and performed by The Psychasthenia Society, enjoyed
a successful run at Collective: Unconscious Theatre during 2005
and 2006. Tonight Jon is going solo with new stories of intrigue
especially for this EyeWash set!
Joshua
Goldberg makes trippy shit. the feedback techniques
he has developed over the last six years that generate a flickery,
gorgeous light art with a style that is unmistakable. Josh is
one of those who prefers 'live visualist' as a term. But what
does that mean?
"3.7" as described by Brandon
Emerick & Pamela.Vitale
is "two mirror's facing each other in a vacuum!"
Whorld
EnVision presents an electrifying meta-montage of psychedelic
visuals, using custom software written by VJ Whorld, and video
content from VJ Vivia. The software includes the Whorld geometric
visualizer and the FFRend Freeframe renderer, allowing real-time
animation to be processed with effects and layered with video.
The video content explores spirituality and world issues, ranging
from meditation and mandalas to urban life and the impact of technology
on our environment.
EyeWash
is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video,
present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio
artists, workshop performance involving video and technology.
