Come One, Come All to this ONE night SPECTACLE!
Launch Movement
Experiment got together with a bunch of their
friends and created, FreakShow!,
a multi-media artistic circus where sideshow meets post-modernism. FreakShow! is
a raw, raunchy evening of everything you have ever wanted: a
mermaid, a rollercoaster, a magician, a contortionist; and,
last, but not least, Ladies & Gents, post-modern dancers
serving up their freshest ideas on movement and performance.
All the “freaks” performing in FreakShow! are
NYC-based artists from all areas of the artistic spectrum, all
woven together by the love of being freaky and putting on a
show! So, lets hear it for the FreakShow!
The evening includes two original short films by Clay Patrick McBride. One features the beloved Coney Island; the other a girl ghost gone mad. Other Acts include original choreography and talent by Bambi the Mermaid, Rachel Mckinstry & Liz Riga//Launch Movement Experiment, Ali Harmer + Friends, Patrick Ferreri, Anne Zuerner/The Roxanne Lola Movement Machine; PLUS, the vocal explosions of UNISEX SALON.
