Two sets of remarkable music performed by two bands with very
different instrumentation and stylistic orientation: a straight-ahead
tenor sax-bass-drums trio interpreting standards in a relaxed
and playful way for your delighted ears, and a luxurious quintet
blending the exquisite sounds of the vibes, the Fender Rhodes
and one of New York's warmest tones on tenor sax: the great John
Ellis. All this is backed by bass and drums and articulating
for you the extravagantly melodic and unforgivingly beautiful
tunes written by its leader Gabriele Donati.
