Two Short Films by Michael Williams and Andy Hershey
It's a DOUBLE FEATURE!

Along with the new affordability and prevalence of video equiptment, computers, and internet connections has come a huge body of video work made by all sorts of humans from all sorts of places all over the world.
These two short films are made entirely of footage found and taken from the internet.

The Internet is Helping Humans to Shit All Over Art compiles internet video footage that seems like it could work in the video art/performance-documentation arena. Though many of the people making much of this work might not immediatley associate what they've made with video or performance art, this film aims to say that these works should be considered on or above that level. The fact that most of the works are made by people who are altogether unaware of the world which normaly offers up these sorts of artistic productions gives them an innocent and unpretentious charm n' soul which is all to often not found in actual art.

Human Beings: The Movie
portrays the human species in it's many forms. Homo sapiens are social by nature, but more than any other primate, they are particularly adept at utilizing systems of communication for self-expression and the exchange of ideas. Using found and assembled video from the world wide web, "Human Beings: The Movie" reveals the internet - and internet video, in particular - to be a new and distinguished environment for observing the varied forms of human social interaction and self-expression. Prepare to be amazed...
