BAM Brooklyn Next Venue Series
Together with Concert
Artists Guild and Public
Dance Theater present:
New Music. New Places.
A classical concert like you’ve never experienced
Solo Violinist Jessica
Lee performing Bach, Kreisler, and Ysaye
Dance provided by Public Dance Theater
Accompanied with photography by Tali Bogen (www.lifeinshuffle.com)
Jessica Lee made her Carnegie Hall debut last
year and has performed on four continents in recital, orchestral
and chamber appearances. In New York she has also performed at
Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and Town Hall. She was the
first prizewinner of the 2005 Concert Artists
Guild International Competition.
Public Dance Theater facilitates artistic development
by promoting contemporary art that is accessible. PDT employs
a collective curatorial vision. Artists recognize communities
who rarely encounter concert performance and reach beyond the
concert halls to produce PDT performances within those spaces.
Dancers:
Michelle Mola
Esmé Boyce
Riley Watts
Marcia Johnson
Allysen Hooks
Collin Baja
Adam Weinert
Chen Zeilinski

Tali Bogen’s Life in Shuffle "...an
artist’s job is to make order out of chaos. You collect
details, look for a pattern, and organize. You make sense out
of senseless facts. You puzzle together bits of everything. You
shuffle and reorganize. Collage. Montage. Assemble." - Chuck
Palahniuk, Diary.
Michael Hart is the catalyzer, and with his commitment
he has challenged this group of artists with the assistance of
Patrick Hammond and the friendship of Peggy Arraou who will document
the evidence on her video camera while, Giovanni Jubert will be
in charge of sonorizing the evening’s ambiance.
Thank You: The Artists, The Invisible Hand, Richard
Weinert, Chez Bushwick, Barie Shortell, Michael Sheriff, Yaniv
Schulman, Yvonne Gougelet, Ben "Snap" Pryor, Ryan Kelly,
