People, continues her Monday residency through the
end of February with her golden voice, her black keyboard, and
her big bass drum. She writes...
"Every Monday this "Winter", I will sing for my
supper at my beloved
Monkey Town. I was having frequent night caps at said joint when
it
occured to me that I could be doing so with a tip jar. I play
with a
band called Young People, and my bandmate lives in LA. I've got
a
bunch of new songs to share, and sometimes friends will come play
with
me (for you), or I'll hand over the piano stool to a guest. If
you
make a request, I'll do my best to cover the tune, but it may
take me
a couple of weeks. But you know where I'll be, Monday nights,
around 9
or 10."
