Nim
(Alex Berman, Sweden) works with live electronic music, innovative
musical interfaces, sound installation and video experiments.
His
beat-oriented music incorporates found sounds, selfmade instruments
and
processing of live input sources, by means of physical, analog
and
digital techniques. Randomness is built into the audiovisual machinery
in an effort to stimulate awareness and achieve unanticipated
results.
The use of personal material (sounds and/or imagery) forms a narrative
centered around the perception and possible reinterpretations
of
everyday experience.
After Nim's performance, Jess and Kelsey (of EFFI BRIEST)
will take to the turntables and rock your world in many random
ways.
