ABOUT REGULAR RECORDS: Barcelona's world-renown Regular Records departs on a worldwide tour to celebrate its 5th anniversary, and to present the release of the "5 YEARS OF REGULARITY" compilation. It's a Live CD-mix by label head JAUMËTIC. No computers, DJ mixing-software, or editing was done to diminish it’s human touch.

After more than 30 releases Regular has developed it's own prestigious stable of artists: JAUMËTIC, IÑAQUI MARIN, PABLO BOLIVAR, CITIZEN KAIN, and SERGEI. There have been other well known producers involved in the past 5 years, as well, such as Oliver Koletzki, Mathias Schaffhauser, Sweet n candy, Tom Clark, Marcel Janovsky, Falko Brocksieper, Hakan Lidbo, Alex Under, Duplex 100, Swat squad, Alecs Marta, René Breitbarth, DK Berlin, Touane, Moonbeam, and a long list of others. They have provided the model for Regular, turning it a musical platform with its own personality and style. 5 YEARS OF REGULARITY will be distributed on CD by Intergroove (www.intergroove.de) and in digital format through Beatport, Itunes, Kompakt, and Hrfq. Keep an eye out for it!

JAUMËTIC: Jaume Pagès is Jaumëtic and Phil Link: musician, DJ and manager of the labels Regular, Irregular and Technostalgia, and a hyperactive element of the Barcelona electronic scene. Jaumëtic began his way in 1992, seduced by the sound from Detroit. He has toured across the world, in the United States, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Germany, England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Italy, etc… At this moment he is resident of Fellini Club in Barcelona and Danzoo in Madrid as well as a regular performer for the Sonar Festival (2002-2004-2005)

IANA: Born in Barcelona, Iana Himnia begun her musical career when she was 6 years old at the "Conservatori Superior de Música de Barcelona". There she was a member of the children’s chorus, and had her first performances at the Liceu Theather. After receiving her Bachelor of Advertising and Public Relations, she practised art direction and graphic design in some advertising agencies from Barcelona and New York, where she lived and worked for a period of time.

It was in the Spanish island of Ibiza that what began as a hobby finally became her job. For the past 5 years Iana has been performing in Ibiza, Berlin, Barcelona, New York, Miami, Mallorca, Sofia, Prague, Bucarest, Lisbon, Giron...in clubs like Space Ibiza, Pin Up, Pacha ibiza, Ibiza Underground, Bambuda Groove, L'Elephant, Es Vive Hotel, La Diosa, Somny, El Ayoun, or Bar 25, Sage Club, The Loft-Lolita, City Hall-Zen Club, La Terraza, Club Fellini, La Macarena, Zentraus, Danzatoria Club, and Catwalk. She also performed in festivals like Electrosplash, (Castellón-Spain), B-Festival (Vitoria-Spain), Explum (Murcia-Spain) and the two editions of DJs AGAINST HUNGER, in between others. Nowadays she is a resident at Hotel Omm, and Club Fellini.

One of the recent and decisive experiences for Iana has been creating the non-profit electronic music festival

DJS CONTRA LA FAM (aka DJs AGAINST HUNGER) (www.djsagainsthunger.org). With two successful editions in Barcelona, this project has had amazing results and reception. She is also behind Femelek (6-11 Març 2005), an electronic music festival. Femelek took place in an old convent and several clubs and art galleries in Barcelona. This versatile femme mixes up pure old-fashioned with brand new minimal tech on the decks. With her irreverent and subversive style, she is inundating dancefloors with adrenaline and surprises.

SAN SERAC: Nat Rabb aka San Serac grew up in Baltimore, but things really went weird on the apocalyptically empty streets of Providence, where it made perfect sense to combine Bryan Ferry's suave hysteria with electronic disco/soul and proto-house. Doesn't that basically leave Yello? Fair enough, and they do loom large. But San Serac takes a different tack with his DIY ethic and high energy live performances. With electronic drums and synthesizers in tow, San Serac has traveled all over the US and Europe, playing shows with ADULT., Wilderness, Chromatics, Height, Colder, Ratatat, DAT Politics and The Gossip to name a few, and at parties like Cobra Kai, P.S.1 Warm Up, Horse Meat Disco, POP! and Dirty Down. San Serac's first 12" ("Tyrant") was released this summer - one of the last records on Trevor Jackson's Output Recordings label - and he's currently wrapping up a new album and several secret collaborations.
