Lichens is Robert Lowe's "personal vehicle, created for performance and recording solo and with collaborators. Lichens has performed in Chicago, beginning at the Arthur magazine sponsored Million Tongues Festival in summer 2004 and New York solo and in duos. Lichens live is a transfixing experience, looping wordless vocals into curtains of drone. Lowe adds acoustic and electric guitars, percussion and other effects to create alternately thick and delicate works."

Lowe recently performed and recorded with TV On The Radio for their upcoming album. He also plays bass and sings in 90 Day Men.

Soft Circle is a one-man sound glorioso fronted and backed by drummer, tape looper, singer, and guitarist Hisham Bharoocha.

Hisham Akira Bharoocha "graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1998, he works mostly as a mix media artist at the moment, using collage, photography, drawing, and painting as his mediums to create. Hisham is best known for his musical endeavors as a former member of bands such as Lightning Bolt and Black Dice.

Soft Circle has opened for bands such as the Boredoms and Hisham has collaborated in music with artists such as Animal Collective, Gang Gang Dance, Wolf Eyes, Eye (Boredoms) and Yoshimi (Boredoms, OOIOO), Susan Cianciolo, Mark Borthwick, and Rusty Santos. Bharoocha also plays in a band called Pixeltan (DFA Records).

His photography, illustration and artwork has been published in magazines such as V Magazine, Nylon, Nest, Tokion, Liberation, Vogue Japan, Ryuko Tsushin, Studio Voice, Brutus, Spur among others."
