Something In Spanish began in Miami, Florida when Michelle Perez
and Jules Monterrey found each other through mutual friends and
started making music together. They both decided to step out
of their musical comfort zones and are continually discovering
a sound that they are calling avant-pop. SIS fuses elements of
50’s pop, exotic lounge, experimental electronic and free
jazz that guarantees a mysterious and engaging live experience.

The Curly Wurlies is a collection of talented musicians under
the direction of composer Anna Clyne.
A band whose combination of acoustic instruments and live electronics
filters the avant concert hall through the sensibilities of textural
ambient music.

London-born Anna Clyne is a composer of acoustic and electro-acoustic
music. Her work, which includes collaborative projects with cutting-edge
choreographers, film-makers, visual artists and musicians, has
been commissioned and performed throughout the US and internationally.
Recent honors include commissions from Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles
Philharmonic, Roulette/Jerome Foundation, awards from ASCAP and
SEAMUS, performances by the American Composers Orchestra, Minnesota
Orchestra and a residency with the Los Angeles-based Hysterica
Dance Company. She currently resides in New York.

Joshue Ott is a time-based multimedia artist. His work includes
video installations, multimedia pieces, video games, and music.
He strives to create new methods for the immediate expression
of human perception. His most recent project, superDraw, is a
visual instrument for performing with live music. The audience
experiences a unique and symbiotic combination of sound and image.
Ott's ever evolving organic animations offer a glimpse into a
dark and glittering dynamic world.
