Suit and This Invitation
Suit

Architecture at the Pennsylvania State University, while exchanging
presentation techniques of glamorized landscapes. Since moving
to New York City to pursue music in 2000, it was not until 2002
that S U I T became the body from which they have released three
EPs: Death March (2002), Mass Touching/Ninfa
(2003), and Pang OS (2004), also two sound collages,
KM (2003) and KM 2 (2004). These are all released
under their limited edition platform KM. They currently reside
in New York City.

This Invitation
Formed by California expatriates guitarists Warren Ng and Casey
Farnum in 2001, with Michael Kornberg on drums and additional
guitars, This Invitation's music is built on the hushed abstract
roar of its drifting dreamlike guitars, layered tones and whispered
vocals evoking a kind of cinematic sound, with elements of slowcore,
minimalism and experimentalist drone & noise music. They
have performed at Tonic, Knitting Factory, BPM & numerous
other venues in the NY/Brooklyn area. They released a cd called
The Skin of Light on their Helio/Form imprint, and
appear on the recently released Music for Plants compilation
cd created for the artist Peter Coffin’s installation
piece at the Andrew Kreps Gallery, NYC.
