Lovers
A young, pre-Splash, post-Blade Runner Daryl
Hannah and a pre-O.C., pre-Sex, Lies, and
Videotape Peter Gallagher star with Valerie
Quennessen in the story of an American couple who rent
a small bungalow on a Greek island and meet a sexy archeologist
and they all fall in love while the Pointer Sisters sing "I'm
So Excited". Us too.

Ladies
and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains
From Lou Adler, the Producer of Rocky Horror Picture Show
and the Director of Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke, we
get the story of three teenage girls (led by a very young Diane
Lane and including an equally young Laura Dern)
who start a punk band. With appearances from ex-Sex Pistols
Paul Cook and Steve Jones, as well as Paul Simonon from The
Clash, The Fabulous Stains were cinematic precursors
to the Riot Grrls of the '90s. And yet, the film was barely released
upon completion and has never managed a proper DVD or VHS release.
But it has been shown on VH1, so we're certain it must be a cult
classic.

Wild
Angels
Yessir. Hot babes. Biker mayhem. Peter Fonda.
Nancy Sinatra. Bruce Dern. Diane
Ladd. It's 1966 and Roger Corman wants
you to party with the bikers. We especially enjoy the joint passed
on the deathbed.
