Estesombelo – an experimental/ambient group from Chicago
that uses visual art that combines plasticity with art in the
form of sound. Live performances entail an intense, involved,
and dramatic stage presence that expresses their appreciation
and passion for the type of music that they create; ranging from
intensely abrasive to lulling delicacy. The piece performed will
see three movements which have been compared to the work of Stars
of the Lid, Terry Riley, Growing, and Steve Reich. The visual
artwork of Keith M. Judge will be adorned for this performance.

Volume is Color – a Chicago-based band that combines sounds
based in rock and electronica with poetic vocals and experimental
video. Words and vocals by Sherry Antonini with Brendan Byrnes,
guitar/vocals, and Rafe Godfrey, drums. Video art by Niki Nolin
and Jason Shipley.
