Some friends came by last month and were talking about Werner
Herzog's latest documentary, Wild
Blue Yonder.
AND THEN, one of them said, "Yeah. It combines NASA space
footage with underwater filming. Herzog calls it his sci-fi film."
AND THEN, I thought, "That's strange. Didn't he refer to
his documentary about the fires in Kuwait's Oil Fields, Lessons
of Darkness, as a science fiction film?"
AND THEN. I looked it up. And he DID. He has made
TWO science fiction films.
And for this reason and because we have the means, we will screen
these films side by side by side by side, on two screens each,
simultaneously.
The soundtracks will be mixed live.
