HALF of what's being said may be true and the other HALF is lunacy.
Many people would argue over what belongs to what HALF.
And you can always count on a One Global Government scare when
filmmakers -- strangely or protectively anonymous -- quote Lyndon
Larouche.
But here's the greatest thing: it's really very well-produced!
It takes its time. It has great editing and a great soundtrack.
AND. You can watch
the whole thing online, but we bought the DVD and it looks and
sounds amazing on 4 screens with 6 speakers
and a subwoofer.
Grand, global epoch-sweeping conspiracies have never looked so
seductive.

We eventually hope to present a live Lincoln-Douglas debate on
the parallel histories presented in Zeitgeist and whose
history makes most sense and whose is most entertaining.
AND THEN...
I began to receive some emails from the filmmaker (Peter) and
a supporter of the filmmaker (referring to herself as "S").
Here is the transcript of their emails and my two responses in
red italics...

prove ANY of it wrong. It's basic history. That place

Thanks for showing the film.... though I can tell you right now
I made this film in total seriousness and
though aspects of the film can be debated, it is far from "half
true". It is based on solid sources.

lyndon larouche. seriously!? read more about lyndon the next
time you get into discussions of One Global Government. again.
it's not actually one-for-one, but when you try to draw a master
narrative about history, all your convincing insights lose their
power amidst your specious ones.
and then i would recommend reading Don DeLillo and Michel Foucault
for some more nuanced accounts of how Power is asserted in the
world. it's much less organized than you seem to be asserting.
Power does lots of devilish things, but for every Murdoch, there
is a Hearst/Citizen Kane. Power isn't that smart, even at Google.

as a person is not of interest.
His comment about Iraq however, was spot on. The work does not advocate anyone.
As far as your comments about the power elite and the authors you prescribe,
you can maintain whatever opinion you like. I have been studying these issues
for 7+ years very intently and seriously, and I feel the disposition presented
is honest.
But, none of this matters...
The bottom line is you are encouraging people from the beginning to assume they
are walking into some "half truth entertainment film" which orients
people to be biased from the start. I don't respect that.
If you choose to continue to show Zeitgeist "free" yet make money off
of the 10 $ minimum, I suggest you give the description a non biased basis, or
pull it from your calender.
I would hope you would respect myself enough as the person who spent 9 months
making the work, with private money as budget and with virtually no return...
to be decent enough not to make a judgment statement of the content that will
influence peoples initial disposition.
That's all I ask.

It is far too gratuitous, unjustified & biased.
.....and perhaps some time in the future I can come down and
debate the issues in a public forum. 'Lincoln-Douglas' as you
say. But that will be a while as I am going out of town for an
extended period immediately after participation in the protests
at ground zero.

You need
to change the description - or pull the
program. You are making money off of something that
isn't yours to make money off of. The least you can do
is give it s proper description, I would recommend
copying the description from the "statement" page of
the film's site.
Change the description or pull the program. You can
have all the personal problems with the film you want
- you are the subject of the film itself.

I highly
recommend you take the time to listen to some
of the interviews with the creator of this film.
Sadly, the only lunacy is within yourself and your
inability to recognize reality.

That's becasue hte military gave it to them. Then it
goes on to admit:
" As a token of the intense surveillance by German
police, prosecutors said that during the investigation
they were able to replace the dangerous peroxide in
the containers with a harmless solution without the
knowledge of the suspects."
Pffffffffffft!
You are a sucker. Total sucker. The contents of
Zeitgeist are all real.... it's truely sad to see such
lack of realty among my fellow man.
